Refund Policy

At About Digital, we strive to provide high-quality digital marketing, software, and technology solutions. Due to the nature of our services, we apply the following refund policy, subject to the terms of the applicable service agreement and applicable Canadian and Manitoba laws.

1. Service-Based Refunds

Payments made for digital marketing services, consulting, strategy development, branding, design, web development, and custom software development are generally non-refundable once work on the project has commenced.

If a project is cancelled before work begins, a partial refund may be issued, less any applicable administrative, transaction, or processing costs.

Where work has already been completed or services have already been delivered, fees relating to those services are generally non-refundable.

2. Software & Product Refunds

Payments for custom-built software, SaaS solutions, development services, or licensed products are generally non-refundable once development, setup, delivery, or access has commenced.

Subscription-based services may be cancelled for future billing periods in accordance with the applicable subscription terms. Cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund for the current or previously billed period.

3. Exceptional Circumstances

A refund may be considered where About Digital is unable to deliver the agreed services due to reasons within our control.

Refund requests should be submitted in writing within 7 days of the applicable payment, where applicable, and should include sufficient details regarding the request.

Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method, where reasonably possible.

4. Applicable Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit, exclude, or waive any rights, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian or Manitoba law.

Where applicable law provides a client with a mandatory right to a refund, cancellation, or other remedy, those rights will continue to apply.

5. Refund Decisions

Refund requests will be reviewed based on the circumstances of the request, the services provided, the applicable agreement, and applicable law.

Where a refund is not required by the applicable agreement or law, About Digital will determine whether a discretionary refund or credit is appropriate.
